2nd DoQuP Workshop on “Information and Data for Quality Assurance of Study Programmes in Partner Countries”

The second DoQuP Workshop on “Information and Data for Quality Assurance of Study Programmes in Partner Countries” was held in Astana, Kazakhstan, at the premises of the Eurasian National University n.a. L. Gumilev on 23rd August 2012.

The main aims of the workshop were the presentation of the proposal of DoQuP information and data for quality assurance of study programmes in partner countries, consistent with the already approved DoQuP standards, and the assessment of their compatibility with the required/available information and data for quality assurance of study programmes at both Ministry and University level in the partner countries.

After the welcome speech of the Eurasian National University First Vice-Rector, the workshop went on with the following presentations:

  • Proposal of Information and Data for Quality Assurance of Study Programmes in Partner Countries, by Marina Cavallini, CRUI;
  • Compatibility of the proposed Information and Data with the Azerbaijan Quality Assurance System, by Agil Valiyev, Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan;
  • Compatibility of the proposed Information and Data with the Kazakhstan Quality Assurance System, by Tynyshkul Amreyeva, National Center For Assessing Quality of Education;
  • Compatibility of the proposed Information and Data with the Kyrgyzstan Quality Assurance System, by Chinara Adamkulova, Kyrgyz National University n.a. Jussup Balasagyn;
  • Compatibility of the proposed Information and Data with the Tajikistan Quality Assurance System, by MakhiraKadyrova, Tajik Institute of Entrepreneurship and Services.

In the afternoon the workshop went on with the presentations of the systems of internal quality assurance of study programmes in Germany, Italy and Slovak by Christian Stracke, Alfredo Squarzoni and Eva Jankovicheva respectively.

The workshop confirmed the compatibility of the proposed information and data with the documentation for quality assurance of study programmes in partner countries.
