8th Meeting of the DoQuP Project Board

Almaty (Kazakhstan), 6th June 2014

 

The 8th meeting of the Project Board of the DoQuP project, composed by all the contact persons of the project partners, was held in Almaty at the premises of Kazakh National Technical University n.a. K.I.Satpayev on 6th June 2014, with the following Agenda:

  1. Opening and welcome
  2. Apologies for absence
  3. Information by the Project Coordinator and Manager and other Participants
  4. Approval of the draft agenda
  5. Approval of the minutes of the 7th  Project Board meeting
  6. Feedback from the field monitoring in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on November 2013
  7. Final approval of the “DoQuP Standards and Guidelines for the internal quality assurance of study programmes in partner countries (DoQuP Model)”
  8. Final approval of the “DoQuP Glossary of terms”
  9. Possible further actions for the implementation of responsibilities and facilities and software for on-line documentation for QA of SPs by partner Universities
  10. Final approval of the Software for the on-line management of  the documentation for QA of SPs
  11. Recommendations for Ministries of Education and Universities and General agreement among Ministries of Education and Universities
  12. Organization of the Final Conference
  13. Any other business
  14. Close of the meeting

The main decisions of the PB regarded:

  • the request of extension of the eligibility period of the project by 6 months, in order to promote the sustainability of the project results through the stipulation of a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ by all the Ministers of Education of the DoQuP Partner Countries, and their dissemination through seminars open to all the interested Universities and Associations of the Partner Countries and the publication on journals and newspapers of the project objectives and results;
  • the approval of the final version of the document “DoQuP Standards and Guidelines for the internal quality assurance of study programmes in partner countries (DoQuP Model)” and of the associated Annexes, Documentation File and Responsibilities Table, and of the “DoQuP Glossary of Terms”.
